Community Service

DPHS Cheer stays actively involved in the community - participating in many community service projects throughout the year.


Above: DPHS Cheerleaders teamed up with the DP JROTC to help the Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department sort through the collection of donated toys and food.


Above: DPHS Cheerleaders brought Christmas to 50 residents in nursing homes when they participated in the “Adopt-A-Resident” sponsored by Commissioner Jack Morman’s Precinct 2 Nursing Home Program.


Above: Deer Park Cheerleaders participated in the Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency this past weekend.  The walk improves the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of persons with primary immunodeficiency diseases through advocacy, education and research.


Above: Camp Courage is a chance for special needs participants to unite with football players & cheerleaders to learn basic drills of being a football player and cheerleader.  The touchdowns were numerous, the smiles were countless and the memories are everlasting.

Above: DPHS Cheerleaders volunteered at the B.I.G. Love Cancer Care’s Superhero Fun Run.  B.I.G. Love is a non-profit organization that provides basic necessities and personalized care to cancer kids and their families at Texas Children’s Hospital.
